This stamped pressing bracket is a formed sheet metal component used for fixing, supporting and positioning parts in automotive, industrial and mechanical assemblies. The product is manufactured through controlled metal pressing operations to achieve stable geometry, accurate mounting holes and repeatable forming quality.
Unlike a simple flat bracket, a stamped pressing bracket usually includes pierced holes, formed bends, compact support surfaces and installation features. During production, key control points include bending angle consistency, hole-to-hole distance, hole-to-bend distance, burr direction and the flatness of mounting areas after forming.
| Product Name | Stamped pressing bracket |
| Manufacturing Process | Blanking, piercing, bending, forming and secondary operations when required |
| Typical Materials | Carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum or project-specific sheet metal, subject to drawing and DFM review |
| Common Thickness Reference | Common projects typically use approximately 0.5–6.0 mm sheet, subject to material, geometry, die structure and DFM review |
| Application Areas | Automotive brackets, equipment supports, electrical assemblies, appliance structures and industrial mounting components |
For this type of metal pressing bracket, dimensional stability depends not only on the press operation but also on die structure, forming sequence and material behavior. If the bend is too close to a pierced hole, hole deformation or position shift may occur. If the forming radius is not matched with material thickness and strength, springback can affect the final installation angle.
Dongguan Changdong Tool & Die Co., Ltd. produces stamped pressing brackets based on customer drawings, 3D models and assembly requirements. The manufacturing route can be reviewed through sheet metal DFM, die design, trial stamping and sample validation before production.
Depending on part size, annual volume and forming complexity, the bracket may be produced by a single-operation die, progressive die or transfer die process. For higher-volume projects, progressive metal stamping can improve repeatability and production efficiency. For larger or deeper formed bracket structures, transfer or staged forming may be more suitable.
The most important inspection points are usually functional dimensions rather than only overall size. Mounting-hole location, bend angle, edge condition, datum flatness and the relationship between formed surfaces should be checked together because these features directly affect assembly fit. Burr direction should also be reviewed when the bracket contacts another component, cable, plastic housing or painted surface.
Changdong supports in-house die design, CNC machining, WEDM, grinding, die assembly, press tryout, sample measurement and metal stamping production. Welding, riveting, tapping and assembly can also be completed in-house when the stamped pressing bracket requires secondary operations.
For project evaluation, please provide the 2D drawing, 3D model, material grade, sheet thickness, tolerance requirements, annual volume, surface requirement and assembly position. The final process, tolerance feasibility and tooling proposal should be confirmed after drawing review and DFM evaluation.
