Dongguan Changdong Tool & Die Co., Ltd. has continued to develop its metal stamping die manufacturing capability since its founding in 2012. In March 2026, Changdong participated in the Canton Fair to present its stamping die manufacturing, prototype tooling, sheet metal stamping parts, and engineering support capability to more international buyers and project partners.
In the same year, Changdong also attended the Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition, further strengthening its exposure in manufacturing, tooling, precision machining, and industrial supply chain sectors.
By May 2026, Changdong's capability covered stamping presses from 45T to 800T, CNC machining, EDM / wire cutting, high-speed drilling, grinding, welding, die assembly, inspection, and press tryout support.
Changdong continued supporting automotive, appliance, industrial, and custom tooling projects. The company strengthened project communication, engineering review, tooling validation, and quality control to support customers requiring stable delivery and repeatable part quality.
In June 2024, Changdong added a high-speed drilling machine to improve hole processing efficiency for stamping die plates, die components, and mechanical processing work. This upgrade supports faster preparation of die plates, inserts, mounting holes, and tooling structures.
In October 2024, Changdong added two 160T press machines. These presses help support smaller and medium-size stamping die tryout, prototype stamping, and sheet metal part validation, improving scheduling flexibility for different tooling projects.
These equipment upgrades strengthened Changdong's ability to coordinate stamping die manufacturing, mechanical processing, press tryout, and stamped part validation within the same factory.
In February 2023, Changdong participated in an exhibition in Thailand to strengthen customer communication and market presence in Southeast Asia. In the same year, the company also attended an exhibition in the United States, expanding communication opportunities with international buyers and manufacturing partners.
In 2023, Changdong added a universal tensile testing machine to support material property verification and quality control. This improves the company's ability to review material strength, forming behavior, and technical requirements for stamping die and stamped part projects.
The improvement of testing capability helped Changdong connect tooling design, material review, stamping validation, and quality inspection more closely.
In 2022, Changdong continued improving its internal manufacturing workflow, focusing on coordination between die design, CNC machining, wire cutting, assembly, tryout, and inspection. The goal was to make project communication faster and reduce repeated tooling correction.

In September 2021, Changdong received a project involving 11 prototype parts for Nissan prototype vehicles and completed metal prototype dies and prototype stamping within a short development cycle.
In October 2021, Changdong won a new prototype parts project for an Ineos prototype vehicle. This further expanded the company's experience in prototype die development, engineering sample production, and prototype stamping support.
In November 2021, Changdong updated its business focus and strengthened online presentation for prototype dies, prototype parts, engineering prototypes, and prototype stamping services.
In March 2020, Changdong supported customers during the COVID-19 period by donating more than 30,000 masks and maintaining responsible cooperation with suppliers.
In June 2020, Changdong ordered two larger travelling cranes with 15T and 10T lifting capacity. These cranes improved handling and assembly support for large stamping dies and prototype dies.
In July 2020, Changdong added 3D blue laser scanning equipment, improving geometric inspection capability for stamped parts and metal prototype parts.
In June 2019, Changdong started to develop prototype dies for vehicle prototype projects, including Suzuki-related prototype development. The company completed deep drawn prototype stamping parts within a short development cycle and accumulated more experience in prototype tooling, soft tooling, and metal prototype part validation.
In April 2018, Changdong received several utility model patent certificates and invention-related patent recognition, reflecting continued development in stamping die technology and tooling improvement.
In July 2018, Changdong attended an exhibition in Thailand and continued expanding cooperation in the automotive stamping die and metal stamping parts market.
In February 2017, Changdong purchased a 3-meter machining center from Taiwan, with machining travel of approximately X3230 × Y1500 × Z850. This equipment improved machining capability for larger stamping dies, die plates, and tooling components.
In April 2017, the 3-meter machining center completed installation and testing, and began supporting large stamping die machining and repair work.
In January 2016, Changdong began quality management training and ISO system preparation to improve internal process control and project management.
In March 2016, Changdong received a Daimler Benz VS30 project involving 11 automotive parts and developed in-die riveting nut technology.
In April and May 2016, the 800T press was installed and put into use. With press capacity from 45T to 800T, Changdong strengthened its ability to support both small stamping tools and larger stamping die tryout.
In July 2016, Changdong received ISO 9001 quality system certification. In November 2016, the company started tool buyoff preparation for the Daimler Benz VS30 project.
In December 2016, Changdong received a Nissan H60 project involving 19 automotive parts, including A/B pillars and bumper-related parts, using cast-structure transfer dies.
In February 2015, Changdong purchased an 800T press to meet larger automotive stamping die and stamping part requirements. The press supported bigger tooling projects and improved tryout capability.
In December 2015, Changdong moved to Dalang, Dongguan, expanding to a larger manufacturing site and improving its ability to support stamping die manufacturing, stamped parts, prototype dies, and tooling project management.
In 2014, Changdong continued to expand its customer base and stamping die project experience. The company received orders from customers in Europe and worked on automotive stamping die projects involving brands and supply chain programs such as Audi, Eurostamp, and Magneti Marelli-related business development.
Changdong also organized team training and improved internal management systems to support stronger project coordination and customer service.
In 2013, Changdong expanded its factory area, invested in a 400T biaxial punch press, ordered CMM measurement equipment, improved lifting capability, and began handling larger stamping die and stamped part projects.
