There is no single die type for all oven components. Smaller brackets and repetitive sheet metal parts may use progressive dies. Larger panels or deeper formed components may require transfer or staged tooling. Components with broad surfaces, multiple flanges or assembly-critical holes may also benefit from separate forming, piercing and calibration operations. Tooling selection should therefore follow DFM, material behavior, annual volume and customer press conditions.
Outer and structural panels can require controlled hole location, bends, ribs, embossments and edge flanges.
Base components can combine mounting holes, formed recesses, stiffening features and multiple flanged edges.
Structural frames, supports and mounting brackets may suit progressive tooling when several operations repeat at volume.
Internal sheet metal components can require drawing, bending, embossing, trimming and calibration according to the finished assembly.

Oven sheet metal components can combine relatively broad panels with localized drawn or embossed areas. These features redistribute material and residual stress, so the finished component can change shape after it is released from the die.
Forming radii, pad support, drawing sequence, flange direction and restriking should therefore be developed as one process. A part that appears simple in nominal CAD may still require correction to maintain panel stability or assembly geometry.
Changdong supports DFM and CAE when required, together with springback compensation, over-bending, restriking and physical tryout correction according to the actual project.
Oven panels and structural parts may contain mounting holes, slots and flange features used in later assembly. Their final relationship can change during bending and forming.
Piercing sequence should therefore be selected according to part stability. Features created too early may move during subsequent forming, while later piercing requires reliable location after the part geometry has developed.
The tooling route should be based on final assembly datums and functional relationships rather than treating each hole or flange as an isolated stamping feature.
Depending on the oven design, stamped components may use stainless, coated, galvanized or other specified sheet materials. Some components may also receive painting, enameling or another surface process after stamping.
Tool marks, excessive burrs, scratches or local surface damage can therefore affect more than appearance; they may also influence later coating or assembly quality.
Tool finish, lubrication, scrap control and part handling should be reviewed according to the actual material and downstream process. No universal scratch-free or coating-performance guarantee should be assumed without project review.
A kitchen-appliance component can combine panel geometry, holes, ribs, flanges and formed recesses in one relatively thin sheet metal part. Each operation changes the condition entering the next operation.
For this reason, stable oven tooling depends less on optimizing one isolated station and more on planning the complete sequence so material flow, hole position, panel shape and final assembly features remain compatible.
