There is no single die type for all oven components. Smaller brackets and repetitive sheet metal parts may use progressive dies. Larger panels or deeper formed components may require transfer or staged tooling. Forming Depth, Radii and Panel Stability

Oven sheet metal components can combine relatively broad panels with localized drawn or embossed areas. These features redistribute material and residual stress, so the finished component can change shape after it is released from the die.

Forming radii, pad support, drawing sequence, flange direction and restriking should therefore be developed as one process. A part that appears simple in nominal CAD may still require correction to maintain panel stability or assembly geometry.

Depending on the oven design, stamped components may use stainless, coated, galvanized or other specified sheet materials. Some components may also receive painting, enameling or another surface process after stamping.
