This image shows a precision multi-station progressive stamping die together with the stamped strip layout used during continuous production. Progressive dies are designed with multiple forming and punching stations arranged sequentially so that sheet metal material can pass through the die and gradually transform into finished components.
Each station inside the tooling performs a specific operation such as punching, trimming, bending, or forming. As the strip advances step by step through the die, the part geometry is progressively developed until the final component is separated from the metal strip. This multi-station layout allows manufacturers to produce complex sheet metal parts efficiently while maintaining consistent dimensional accuracy.
Dongguan Changdong Tool & Die Co., Ltd., founded in 2012, specializes in the design and manufacturing of progressive stamping dies, transfer dies, and precision forming tooling up to 4 meters in length. The factory occupies approximately 4,000 square meters and operates under ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management systems.
