Maintenance Essentials of Stamping Die

The purpose of stamping die maintenance is to quickly find out the problem point and solve it, so that the mold revert to the original state, and can continue to produce products conforming to the standard. 5) Is a product of a tip: less than 75 degree in engineering or change the gap.

6) Excellent material: replace material or increase clearance.

8) Is not locally generated: Die feather or the wound. Re-correcting or modifying the stamping die.

4. Die

1) Die loose: punch or die move more than one side clearance. Adjusting combination clearance.

2) Punch or die inclined straight, not positive, or re-plate of a foreign body, so that the template cannot be flat. Re assemble or grind to correct.

3) Template deformation: the hardness or thickness, or by the impact of external force deformation. Change the new template or correct the disassembly method.

4) Die deformation: the mold base thickness or not. The force does not mean, a guide pole and guide sleeve, straight degree of variation. Grinding, straightening or refilling the plastic steel or replacing the mold seat or making the force average.

5) Die punch or stamping die size, the interference position is correct, the upper and lower die positioning deviation, assembly will loose, punch accuracy. Frame mode is not.

6) Punching punch strength. No deviation, the size of the punch is too close to the lateral force is not balanced, the red half inclined. Strength the inclined plate guide protection function or punch increase, small punch grinding short LT, increase heel early support guide, pay attention to feed length.

5. Dimensional variation

1) A blade wear is too large or larger in size (cut shape); smaller (piercing) plane is not good. Regrinding or replacing dies.

2) No guide: a guide pin or other positioning devices have no effect, no relaxation or feeding machine guide pin diameter. No, not correct guidance. Positioning block wear, long distance.

3) A short die bending degree becomes larger, its not forming incomplete.

4) Escape hole. By squeezing or including injury or deformation. Clear the escape hole or increase the escape hole and depth.

5) Top out. Feeding is not smooth, bar bending, stripping, poor die drawing material, lengthened ejector.

6) Improper ejection: improper preparation of top pin, inappropriate spring force or too long ejection. Adjust the elasticity or change the position or pin number; pin grinding short coordination.

7) The material guide: guide plate length is not poor. Or the feeding gap is too large or die and a feeding machine deflection or die and the feeder distance is too long.

8) Material: bending part deformation can not allow material to be overlapped, each fall, or disc pressure pad or shear strain can be overcome.
